  3.                   TTGEN 1.22 ENHANCEMENTS

  6. Editing screens now have Word Star Cursor Commands for 
  7. easier editing.  A "mini-menu" is provided.
  8.  
  9. TT files previously edited by some word processors, such as 
  10. Word Star, could not be read by TTGEN 1.0 due to "high bits" 
  11. being set.  These files are now readable.
  12.  
  13. Combined BBS and computer information entries are now 
  14. separated, making those entries clearer and easier.
  15.  
  16. Genealogical Data screens now display the first surname's 
  17. Soundex code.
  18.  
  19. A menu of Genealogical Data entries has been added to enable 
  20. the user to access specific entries quickly.

  22. Genealogical Data entries containing surnames resulting 
  23. different Soundex codes are separated so that the surnames 
  24. reflect their own Soundex codes.  This occurs only when the 
  25. TT file is saved.

  27. Case sensitivity has been removed from the sort routine.

  29. Header and genealogical data are now cropped of excess 
  30. characters to conform with TT SPEC 1.16 (40 and 80 
  31. characters, respectively).  The genealogical screen flags 
  32. excess characters upon exit of editing mode.
